The Goat Locker CPO Deck Log Oct-Dec 2007
CPO email addresses are available by clicking on the CPO's name. I also have a separate listing of just CPO email addresses available. Please note that all email addresses worked when placed on this page. Overtime some may not work due to Chiefs changing their Internet providers. You can save the file and use your browser to view it off line or you can view it with any word processor. Use your browsers "find" or "search" command and search for shipmates by rate, name or command. To even further keep entries secure from SPAM I have added a "2" after every @ symbol in each email address. So if you go to email someone remove the "2" from the address.

Comments: Done twenty in my Navy and enjoyed all of it even though I and having some effects of it now that I am older. Made Chief and really enjoyed it after. had some great duty and not so great duty. I learned a lot and have found that it really helped in retirement . The other services can say we have senior enlisted but they art not like a "chief ". I have found no other branch that can come close to meeting what a chief stands for.

Comments: I made Chief at Willow Grove, PA and we had a strong CPO Association so I got a very good start at being a CPO. I have been retired now for over 20 years and have worked for the Dept of the Navy until coming to NASA four years ago. Changes in the military are always happening and whether we agree with them or not they happen. I believe that deep down the young people we have now are much like we were their heart is strong and I pray that God will grant them good fortune and return them home safe as he did us. Thanks for this page Master Chief although I think most of the guys I knew and served with never got the chance to see it. It is a good thing you are doing. We need to maintain our unity to be strong. I have been looking for a Navy Chief's jacket. I saw one a long time ago. It was a hooded jacket, lined on the inside (kind of like sweatshirt material), rain gear type on the outside. Big Anchor and Navy Chief embroidered on the back. I would love to get one and wear it all the time, but can't seem to find one. If anyone has suggestions...I would appreciate it.

Comments: Twenty years learning a trade and then twenty five years putting it use. I retired from the Navy and then retired from the Army in Alaska. Working with 20 ex-enlisted sailors in a power plant. The best trained people in the world, ex-sailors. Fair winds and following seas to all on the Briney blue.
If you have the time and resources go to a reunion and see your old shipmates and renew old times.

Comments: Hello to all my fellow Chiefs, Been retired for going on 12 years and not a day has past me by that I have not thought about my time in the Navy. But what I miss most is my friends and comrads. Been in touch with a few over the years but there are so many more that touched my life that I'd like very much to hear from. If you served with me on-board any of the commands I listed do give me a shout via my e-mail . I do still work as a Spotter truck driver at a distribution center and on my off time I ride my Harley-Davidson meeting veterans just about every where I go. Live in Middle Tennessee and loving life.
