Looking to aquire at least two UIM's from every submarine that is currently active this year. I plan to assemble a display for the 100th Birthday Ball in April 2000 and then present it to the Training Facility in conjunction with the dedication of "Deterrent Park" memorial along with my other project "Project 41" which is the assemblage of the all of the original 41 FBM submarines ship's patches and UIM's. I currently am missing 9 original ship's patches and 9 UIM's. If you can help with the UIM's from the currently active subs or need to know which FBM ship's patches and UIM's I am still missing and could help, please contact me at MTC-william.ritter@smtp.cnet.navy.mil or at home at ritz@silverlink.net and I will be happy to give you more information. I will attach a note about who the patch/UIM was from and when you served. thanks ritz: |
